Transcendence

Our journey in this life is that which is experiential, that of consciousness. We are real and of substance, but I’m not talking about in the physical sense. I’m talking about what isn’t cherryblossom2visible to the eye. It is that which we are, that cannot be substantiated through empirical evidence. Is there more to reality than meets the eye? I have this keen 6th sense that there’s something beyond my senses and beyond my time. Let’s call it a strong intuition. It’s like not being able to put a finger on something, but I just know.

When I experience intuition, if it can be verified then my perceptions are most often accurate. I can depend on this 6th sense of mine. Yet sometimes it cannot be proven. Just because something is left unproven, does it make it more false or less real? Does it make intuition less accurate? Doesn’t everyone have a 6th sense? How mysterious. It’s exciting! When you really think about it, there is no end. There is no death. Only the living experience death. Why exist in this world briefly, for such a short time, if there is not more than this? There is more. I can sense it.
